They (rich people) want us to squabble over scraps. They want us to blame each other for why gas prices are high or why the grocery bill feels like a ransom note. But here’s the truth: The top 10% are no longer just rich—they’re royalty. They rewrite laws, dodge taxes, and buy politicians while the rest of us fight for scraps.
The real welfare queens drive Teslas and take off in private jets, all funded by you.
Who Really Lives Off the Government?
(The Rich)
Look at Elon Musk, the self-proclaimed champion of innovation, who’s raked in billions in government subsidies for Tesla, SpaceX, and SolarCity. Meanwhile, you’re drowning in medical debt for having the audacity to break your leg once. Musk isn’t the only one. Corporate giants receive an estimated $100 billion annually in federal subsidies. That’s your hard-earned money greasing the wheels of private jets, not feeding kids or lowering your rent.
But turn on the news, and they’re spinning tales of so-called “lazy welfare recipients” living large on government aid. Spoiler alert: the average food stamp recipient gets about $6 a day. Compare that to the billions funneled to oil companies or the millions Amazon saves by paying zero federal income tax. Zero. While they’re avoiding taxes, your local school is holding bake sales to buy art supplies
Red or Blue, They’re Laughing at You.
The ultra-rich have mastered the art of hedging their bets. They chose to donate mainly to the Republican party to ensure they win. However, no matter who’s in office, red or blue, they’re laughing at you. Watching us argue about social issues while they quietly siphon off the nation’s wealth.
Think about it: Both parties agreed on massive corporate bailouts during the 2008 financial crisis. The banks got trillions, and we got foreclosures. During the pandemic, billionaires saw their net worth skyrocket while essential workers—us—died in overcrowded hospitals. They turned our crises into their profit.
It’s Time to Flip the Script
Here’s the bitter truth: they need us distracted. If we’re busy blaming each other, we won’t notice who’s really robbing us blind. It’s a distraction as old as time—pit the working class against itself while the top 10% tighten their grip.
So, what can we do?
- Start Talking, Start Organizing: Talk to your neighbors, co-workers, and friends. Share the real story about where the money is going. Knowledge is power, and unity is terrifying to the elite.
- Demand Better Policies: Push for wealth taxes, corporate accountability, and campaign finance reform. The more we hold the ultra-rich accountable, the more we can reclaim what’s been stolen from us.
- Support Local Change: Advocate for well-funded schools, better healthcare access, and local initiatives that actually help people.
- Remember History, Act Boldly: Times like these aren’t new. In the past, when inequality reached a breaking point, the working class rose up, demanding revolutionary change. We don’t condone violence, but we must recognize that we’re being backed into a corner. It’s time to stop playing defense and start fighting back actively—through protests, organizing, and strategic resistance. The system isn’t going to fix itself, and history shows that real change comes when the people refuse to stay silent.
They Need Us More Than We Need Them
(The rich think otherwise)
The top 10% might hold the purse strings, but we hold the power. They can’t sell their goods without us. They can’t run their corporations without our labor. The moment we stop fighting over the leftovers and start demanding our fair share, the game changes.
Let’s stop arguing over the crumbs and start focusing on the feast that’s been hoarded. Because when we come together, the house of cards they’ve built on our backs will fall.
Let’s make them fear unity more than they love their yachts.
